lang=\"en-GB\">Innovation has been part of Fonderies de Sougland\u2019s DNA since its creation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">At the beginning of the 20th century, there was already an invention allowing for an improvement in the working conditions and performance of our workshops. <a href=\"https:\/\/fonderiesdesougland.fr\/uk\/the-fonderies-de-sougland\/the-industrial-heritage-of-the-haut-de-france\/\">See \"Our background<\/a>\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">This is why we have chosen to integrate research and development directly into our workshops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span lang=\"en-GB\">While the proximity between our company and the needs of our customers is obvious, it is also of a definite\u00a0advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Being open to the improvements that our partners would like, triggering a thought process, being able to develop full-scale tests directly at client premises and within our structure, and lastly validating these via collaborations with external players (laboratories, research centres, universities, etc.), is a unique opportunity that we have decided to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"link64_adl_tabid\" style=\"display: none;\" structure :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">A project manager who <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">looks into all the practical cases submitted by our customers and coordinates the various stages of the process<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">Metallurgy experts who can indicate possible improvement in the metal grades used.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">An internal design office capable, amongst other things, of re-designing a part by suggesting modifications useful for better production (re-design to cost), but also of simulating the casting or cooling.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">Qualified inspectors who provide decision-making elements by objectifying observations in the field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">Collaboration with technology platforms, independent laboratories, research centres (within universities and independent), which allows for validating our proposals on the basis of facts.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">All these elements allow us to maintain a constant dynamic for innovation and added value for our
