Finishing

Our experienced operators are equipped with tools and machines enabling them to carry out all kinds of finishing operations.

Shake-out

To separate the metal cluster (casting + gating system + feeder heads) from the moulding sand that surrounds it.

Shot peening

To remove the feeder heads and the gating system, by impact, mechanical cutting or air arc cutting process.

Shot blasting

By the projection of metallic or non-metallic micro-beads onto the part surface.

Sand blasting

By the projection of an abrasive (sand) onto the part at high speed using compressed air through a nozzle.

Trimming or deburring

To remove excess materiel from the part (burrs, surface imperfections, etc.). Depending on the run and the weight of the parts, this operation is either carried out manually or mechanically.

Grinding

Grinding using abrasive pads on frames or hand held machines.
